Happy New Year!

Isn’t it interesting how everything starts at the new year.

We start new diets at the new year.

We make resolutions to do this or do that at the new year.

And we plan for travel.

I’m no different I suppose. I would love to lose a few (a lot of) pounds and I plan on all the things that I want to do or not do, for the year. But travel is at a standstill for me for 202

Last summer, my time in London ended with an urgency to get home because my mother-in-law was struggling. She is now 89 and the obvious could happen any time. Even though I am a bit tied to California just now, I still have a few things I would like to do here, closer to home.

We have lived in our home for 20 years now. That is just mind blowing! But there are so many things I have never seen here. Work kept me busy for many years and then we were busy with plenty of other things that were more important than visiting fun places.

Well, the time has come for me to get out and you get to benefit from my local excursions. The biggest one is that I want to see all of the California missions again. Here in California, 4th graders study the missions. I think that is all I’m going to share for now.
